Pocdoc was founded on a simple insight: Australia’s healthcare system, while exceptional in many respects, can be confusing and cumbersome - particularly for common needs that demand quick, dependable support.
Although the broader industry has been slow to adapt, the expectations of everyday Australians have moved ahead. People now anticipate the same ease and efficiency from healthcare that they’ve grown used to when ordering groceries or hailing a ride.
Yet, when it came to accessing a medical certificate, renewing a script, or getting basic health guidance, the journey remained more complicated and sluggish than it needed to be.
The creators of Pocdoc didn’t aim to “disrupt” the healthcare system. Instead, we set out to enhance it.
A future where everyday healthcare feels as seamless as ordering groceries or booking a ride. We’re building a platform that supports GPs by lightening their load and giving patients clearer tools to manage their health.

We asked ourselves a clear, grounded question: Could the most frequent and time-critical health needs be made more efficient, more secure, and easier for both patients and clinicians?
That question became the foundation for Pocdoc.
